Have you seen Google's deadly new Star Wars Easter egg?

OMG.

THE NEW STAR WARS movie is released around the world next month. And to honour this, Google has created one of its finest Easter eggs to date.

To do it: turn the sound on for full effect.

Then go to the Google homepage, and type into the search bar: “A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.”

Then THIS HAPPENS.

And all your search results are taken to the Galactic Empire.

There are also a host of other things Google is offering to Star Wars fans, you can now customise your entire Gmail, Google Maps and YouTube experience according to your choice of side:

Progress bars become lightsabers, search boxes are transformed… basically, the Star Wars fan in your life needs to see this.
