A YOUNG GIRL has died after being caught in a bouncy castle which blew away from its moorings.
The accident happened at an Easter fair in the town of Harlow, Essex, yesterday afternoon.
Yourharlow.com reports that the emergency services were called to Harlow Town Park just after 4pm after a bouncy castle, with the young girl inside, came off its moorings and blew over 150 metres further down the park.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence in the wake of the tragedy, Essex Police confirmed in a statement.
The girl, believed to be seven years old, was treated at the scene by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is the second such incident involving a bouncy castle in Harlow in the last year.
Last May a similar installation collapsed in the same park with children trapped inside.
