Heroin worth €840,000 seized after tip-off about suspicious activity

Suspicious activity was reported in the Limekiln Lane area of Dublin.

GARDAÍ SEIZED HEROIN with a street value of around €840,000 after a tip-off from a member of the public.

Suspicious activity was reported in the Limekiln Lane area of Dublin 12.

The drugs were seized in searches of the Walkinstown area including one of a parked car.

The seizure was made on Thursday afternoon. There were no arrests and investigations are ongoing.

Gardai are now appealing to anybody with further information in relation to this seizure to contact your local Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111.
