GETTING INTO THE property market can be a daunting experience. Here we try and make it a bit easier – and bring you four of the best properties on the market around the country this week.

Under €250,000

Limerick, city centre – €65,000

For a property under €250,000 (way under €250,000) you could do worse then this three-bedroom dormer bungalow in Limerick, a bargain at €65,000. Located a five-minute walk away from Limerick city centre, the house is being advertised as an opportunity for first-buyers.

Under €500,000

Dublin, Portobello – €390,000

This house, located in the Portobello area of south Dublin city, has been renovated and rebuilt over the past decade and comes with a gas central heating system. Kerry, Camp – €590,000

While it is difficult to describe anything that costs €590,000 as a bargain – this property was initially priced at €1.5 million. The architect who designed the 10-bedroom home had originally done so with the intention of living in it. The house is situated in its own 5-acre site and looks out across Tralee Bay.
