GETTING INTO THE property market can be a daunting experience. Here we try and make it a bit easier – and bring you four of the best properties on the market around the country this week.
Limerick, city centre – €65,000
For a property under €250,000 (way under €250,000) you could do worse then this three-bedroom dormer bungalow in Limerick, a bargain at €65,000. Located a five-minute walk away from Limerick city centre, the house is being advertised as an opportunity for first-buyers.
Dublin, Portobello – €390,000
This house, located in the Portobello area of south Dublin city, has been renovated and rebuilt over the past decade and comes with a gas central heating system. While the property is advertised as being a “haven of seclusion and privacy” – it is also located within walking distance of St Stephen’s Green and the city’s main thoroughfares.
Kerry, Camp – €590,000
While it is difficult to describe anything that costs €590,000 as a bargain – this property was initially priced at €1.5 million. The architect who designed the 10-bedroom home had originally done so with the intention of living in it. The house is situated in its own 5-acre site and looks out across Tralee Bay.
Dublin, city centre – €750,000
This two-bedroom Dublin penthouse would suit those anybody looking for luxury accommodation. The apartment is situated in Dublin’s salubrious Docklands area and comes with its own 77 sq m roof garden. The property also looks out over the Liffey river.
