GETTING TO GRIPS with a fast-changing property market is tricky, but we’re here to make things simpler.
Each week, we’ll handpick a number of homes within a similar budget, to give you a snapshot of the property landscape at a particular price point.
This week, we’re looking at properties around Wicklow with an asking price of exactly €595,000 – from a new build in Greystones to a family home in Bray.
A four-bed property, 95 Seagreen Park is part of the newly constructed Seagreen development. It boasts a light-filled and spacious interior, with features including a fully integrated kitchen, luxury wardrobes and a west-facing rear garden with a lawn and patio area.
On the first floor, the front two bedrooms enjoy sea views, while the rooms to the rear overlook the surrounding countryside. Greystones Harbour is a five-minute drive (or half an hour’s walk) away.
Located a 20-minute walk from the heart of Enniskerry, Carpathia is a charming three-bed bungalow. The property sits on one third of an acre site and boasts panoramic views of the Dublin Mountains, Dublin Bay and the Sugar Loaf.
The accommodation comprises a kitchen and dining area, a living room with an open fireplace, a light-filled conservatory, four bedrooms, an en suite bathroom and the family bathroom. A terrace to the side of the conservatory makes for the perfect spot to enjoy the views and dine al fresco.
Approached via a sloped gated driveway, Oak and Elm is a warm and welcoming family home. The property has been completely reconfigured in the past seven years, including re-plumbing and rewiring throughout.
One of the bedrooms on the ground floor has been transformed into a walk-in wardrobe off the master bedroom, while there are two bedrooms and a living room in the attic. Landscaped gardens border the property, with a spacious patio to the side. The heart of Bray is a 10-minute walk away.
With panoramic views of Wicklow Bay to the front and views of the countryside to the rear, 19 Seacliff makes the most of its surroundings. The four-bed bungalow comes to the market in turn-key condition, with the accommodation spanning 2,583 sq ft.
It benefits from two spacious living rooms, a light-filled kitchen and dining area and four sizeable bedrooms, while the master bedroom boasts an en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The kitchen opens to a large south-facing decking area and lawn. Wicklow town is a handy 10-minute drive away.
