ASTRONAUTS PLUNGED INTO the Pacific Ocean on Friday after their 10-day mission, during which they went further into space than humans had ever gone before.
Titled Artemis II, the mission is the latest to share a name with a Greek deity, coming from the goddess of hunting, the wilderness and childbirth.
She was the twin sister of the god Apollo. If that rings a bell, it may be because it’s the name of NASA’s famous 1969 mission that put men on the moon for the first time.
