THE FILM LEGALLY Blonde was a key moment in the career of actor Reese Witherspoon. Released in 2001, it made multiple times its budget, was beloved of critics and fans alike, and had a sequel made in 2003.
Now comes the Prime Video series Elle, which is a prequel to the films and tells the story of Elle Woods (the character Witherspoon played in the film) before she became a hotshot lawyer. (Read our Best of the Box guide to it here.)
