An Irish chipper in Sydney is selling battered black pudding and deep fried jam sandwiches
As well as everything an Irish chipper can offer.
THE TRADITIONAL CHIP Shop in Sydney is a gift for any Irish emigrant down under.
Located in the Bondi Junction area of the city, it’s a proper Irish chipper set up by an Irish couple living in Sydney.
They serve battered black puddings (and white too)
They have invented a dessert that is a deep fried jam sandwich

As The Irish Echo newspaper down under revealed, the chipper is owned by Meath man Will Dolan and his wife Suzanne. And all they want to do is replicate the traditional Irish chipper in Australia:
So many people out here miss the taste of food from a traditional chip shop so we were just waiting to find the right building in the right place.
And they have quite a story to tell:
Will and I both worked in a chipper back home when we were younger. Will came out here in 1998 and I followed him out in 2009. It’s been something that he’s wanted to do for a long time.
Contained in their varied menu is the classic curry chip
And the taco cheese chip – with some Lilt added for good measure
They have everything you could want from an Irish chipper
And those battered pudding and jam sandwich creations look very interesting.
