Irish man dies in Thailand after kitesurfing accident

The man is reported to have been living in Thailand for some time.

AN IRISH KITESURFER has died in an incident on a beach on Thailand.

Local media report that the man died after getting into trouble at Hua Hin beach near Bangkok.

The man is reported to have been living in Thailand for some time.

A spokesperson for the Department Foreign Affairs said that it was aware of the incident and providing consular assistance.
