THE JURY’S INN hotel on Dublin’s Custom House Quay is to rebrand as a Hilton Garden Inn next year.
The company that runs the hotel, Amaris Hospitality, announced the news this morning.
A massive extension is also planned at the well-known Dublin hotel – which is popular with 3Arena gig-goers and GAA fans heading to Croke Park – with 80 new bedrooms planned.
It’s part of Amaris’s plan to find the best locations for new hotels, and the most appropriate brands for its existing hotels, CEO John Brennan told Morning Ireland.
The Hilton Garden Inn is “a brand that we’re very familiar with,” Brennan said.
“We have a Hilton Garden Inn in Heathrow which we converted last year, along with two other hotels in London that we converted to Hilton Double Tree.”
All three are trading well, he said.
“We believe that tapping into the Hilton distribution network of nearly 48 million loyalty club members is going to be a really positive thing for the Jury’s Inn at Custom House Quay.”
It will be the first Garden Inn branded hotel in Ireland, he said – and as part of the rebrand plan an 80-bedroom extension is proposed.
Amaris Hospitality comprises 89 individual hotel properties from four separate portfolios – trading under a number of brands, including Jury’s Inn, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Mercure and MGallery.
Hilton’s website describes its Garden Inn brand as being “upscale, yet affordable”.
Their promotional bumf adds:
“With more than 600 locations worldwide, inviting social spaces, and high-end amenities, we ensure you’ll have a great stay at an even greater value.”
