The man investigating Karen Buckley's murder has thanked the people of Ireland
Detective Superintendent Jim Kerr of Police Scotland thanked people for their support as he and his team investigate the murder of the 24-year-old Cork woman.

THE SENIOR INVESTIGATING officer in charge of the investigation into Karen Buckley’s murder has penned an open letter to the Irish people.

Detective Superintendent Jim Kerr of Police Scotland thanked people for their support as he and his team investigate the murder of the 24-year-old Cork woman, who was buried last week.

The letter reads:

Dear Sir/Madam

Throughout our investigation in to the death of Karen Buckley in Glasgow in April 2015 we received and continue to receive messages of appreciation from people in Ireland.

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for taking the time to contact us and for their thanks and continued support. It is very much appreciated by myself and the dedicated team of officers who are involved in the investigation.
