One of the most comfortable and capable cars on the market. A car that has sophisticated technologies and loads of luxury features to get you off-road, and back on again, in a safe, civilized and glamorous manner. I’d buy the all-new Land Rover Discovery.
Why a Land Rover Discovery?
The Land Rover Discovery is basically a sofa on wheels with added weather protection and tonnes of cool gadgets and safety features. It is supremely comfortable and spacious and those seats are like your favourite armchair.
It is bursting at the seams with high-tech features to make sure that it can go anywhere at anytime, in a safe and controlled manner. It has a Traction Control System, Gradient Acceleration Control (GAC), Hill Descent Control with Off-Road ABS, Hill Launch Assist, Roll Stability Control (RSC), Electronic Traction Control (ETC) and Cornering Brake Control (CBC), to name but a few. This is one seriously capable machine.
What’s special about this particular one?
This particular model is powered by a 240hp 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with four-wheel drive. It has 500Nm of torque and can go from zero to 100km/h in just 8.3 seconds and onto a top speed of 207km/h.
It is finished in Carpathian Grey and sits on top of 20-inch five split-spoke alloys. It has LED headlights and rear privacy glass and being the five-seat model it has a massive 2,406-litre boot capacity.
The interior is stunning finished in Nimbus/Espresso grained leather with Natural Shadow Oak veneer finishers. It has a premium leather multi-function steering wheel with remote audio control and it has the Navigation Pro sat-nav system as well as a Meridian audio system. It also comes with parking sensors and a rear view camera.
