Gardaí seize 175 cannabis plants from Leitrim growhouse

Nobody was arrested as the house was unoccupied.

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED cannabis worth €140,000 from a growhouse in Leitrim.

The find came this morning as part of an on going into investigation into the sale and supply of illegal drugs. Gardaí in Leitrim discovered the plants in a house at Cluain Alainn, Carraigallen, yesterday morning around 11am.

Nobody was arrested as the house was unoccupied.

The scene has been sealed of for technical examination and Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact Carrick on Shannon Garda Station on 0484339602, or Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111.
