A SINGLE LOTTO ticket could make someone Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after tonight’s draw produced a €17 million jackpot, the third largest in the game’s history.

The winning numbers were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 39, with bonus 5.

The location of the ticket has not yet been confirmed.

Over 93,000 players won smaller prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

Twenty-five people matched five numbers in the main draw, receiving €1,241 each, while 63 matched four numbers plus the bonus for €124 each. The Lotto raffle also produced 84 winners of €500 each.

The single winner of the €17m jackpot could become Ireland’s third highest Lotto jackpot winner ever – the prize pot only ever exceeded this figure twice, in 2008 and 2022..

This is the seventh major Lotto win of 2025, following previous jackpots claimed in Dublin, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick, Louth and Waterford.

National Lottery officials have said that they are awaiting the winner to come forward to claim their prize.
