There was one winner of last night's massive 12 million Lotto jackpot

It’s the 11th biggest jackpot in the history of the Lotto. The winning ticket was sold in the North West.

THERE WAS JUST one jackpot-winning ticket in last night’s Lotto draw, the National Lottery has confirmed.

The €12 million main prize was the 11th biggest in the history of the Lotto, and the highest in over 2 years.

It’s been rolling over since Saturday 12 April.

Those all important numbers:

13, 14, 24, 31, 35 and 43. The bonus number: 21

The winning ticket was sold in the North West of the country. No further geographical details have been confirmed.

The last time the jackpot was at a similar level was in March of 2012. On that occasion it was won by two ticketholders: Giustina Macari from Kildare town and a Co Meath couple shared the jackpot, each taking home over €5.7 million.

Next Saturday’s jackpot will be back down to a paltry €2 million.
