2. OSCAR Pistorius has been found guilty of the culpable homicide of Reeva Steenkamp in South Africa. His sentencing will take place on 13 October but in the meantime he has been allowed out on bail.

3. WE’RE still waiting on a date but it’s looking more and more likely that Ireland will be allowed pay back some of its bailout loans early – meaning it can take advantage of the better-value funding currently available.
