Man (51) arrested in connection with murder of John Ustic in Cork

The English national is believed to have died from his injuries after an altercation.

GARDAÍ HAVE MADE an arrest in connection with the murder of John Ustic in Cork earlier this year.

The English national’s body was discovered at a house at High Street in Skibbereen at about 9am on 26 September.

It’s believed that Ustic, who was 51 years old, was involved in an altercation at a nearby car park in the town prior to returning home.

The post-mortem examination revealed that he died of his injuries that resulted from an assault.

This morning, gardaí arrested a 51 year old man in Co Tipperary on foot of their investigation.

He is currently detained at Bandon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
