Man in critical condition after alleged assault in Clondalkin this morning

A woman in her 30s has been arrested and is currently detained at a garda station in Dublin.

A MAN IN his 50s has been hospitalised with serious injuries after an alleged assault in Clondalkin this morning. 

A woman in her 30s has been arrested and is currently detained at a garda station in Dublin.

The alleged assault occurred at around 8am this morning at Lealand Road in Dublin.

The man is being treated for his injuries at James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, where his condition has been described as critical. 

Gardaí have asked anyone who may have been in the area from 7:30am to 8am, or who may have information about the incident, to come forward.
