A 62-YEAR-OLD MAN survived in the Outback without food or water for six days by eating ants.

Reg Foggerdy disappeared last week while camel hunting with his brother, according to the West Australia website, the BBC reports.

He was found today about 15km from where he became lost.

Police Superintendent Andy Greatwood told ABC Perth Foggerdy was ”extremely dehydrated” and ”a bit delusional” when he was found.

Greatwood added that he is now “sitting up and talking” after receiving first aid.

“His last couple of days of survival were achieved by lying down under a tree and eating black ants,” Greatwood said.
