Man (47) to appear in court over murder of Polish man in Letterkenny

The body of the 37-year-old Polish man was discovered at Westside Apartments in Letterkenny on Wednesday 15 May.

A 47-YEAR-old man will appear before Carndonagh District Court later charged in connection with the death of Bogdan Michalkiawicz last month.

The body of the 37-year-old Polish  man was discovered at Westside Apartments in Letterkenny on the morning of Wednesday 15 May. He was last seen alive on Monday 13 May.

The man was arrested in Letterkenny on Sunday night in connection with the investigation and was questioned at Letterkenny Garda Station.

A reconstruction of the murder is to be shown on RTE’s Crimecall programme on tonight, along with an appeal for information.

Investigations are continuing.
