The collision occurred yesterday at 4.45pm.

A MAN HAS died following a collision involving two motorcycles on the Conor Pass, also known as An Chonair, in Co Kerry on Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at An Clochán on the R560 at around 4.45pm yesterday.

One of the motorcyclists, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second motorcycle, a man in his 60s, and his female passenger were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Kerry with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road has been closed overnight to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to carry out a technical examination.
