Their mother Michelle was also in a serious condition in hospital, as was three-year-old girl Lia.

Two 16-year-old boys managed to escape the house.

Zac Bolland, 23, of Blackleach Drive in Worsley, has been charged with three counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life.

Courtney Brielery, 20, of Worsley Avenue in Worsley, has been charged with the same offences.

They are both in custody and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court later today.
