GREATER MANCHESTER POLICE has said that two people have been charged with the murder of three children, who were killed in a house fire earlier this week.
Demi Pearson (14) died at the scene, while Brandon (8) and Lacie (7) later died in hospital after the fire at the house in Walkden in Salford.
Their mother Michelle was also in a serious condition in hospital, as was three-year-old girl Lia.
Two 16-year-old boys managed to escape the house.
Zac Bolland, 23, of Blackleach Drive in Worsley, has been charged with three counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder and one count of arson with intent to endanger life.
Courtney Brielery, 20, of Worsley Avenue in Worsley, has been charged with the same offences.
They are both in custody and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court later today.
