SWORDS IN NORTH County Dublin has a lot going for it.
It’s close to the city, Dublin Airport, and the coastline and now it will have a new development of houses to its name.
Fairbrook, comprising of 85 units, will be for sale starting from €264,950 with Sherry Fitzgerald Ltd via Daft.ie.
The development is just 2km from Swords village and is located across the road from two new schools and the Applewood Community Centre. Applewood Village is five minutes away and has numerous retail outlets, a cafe, gym, creche, newsagent and bakery.
The houses are all architect-designed and built to high standards especially in regard to energy-efficiency – all the houses are rated A3 BER. There are solar panels in each house and gas-fired central heating.
The showhouses available are two three-bedroom semi-detached houses and a four-bedroom detached house.
Other features throughout include uPVC double-glazed windows and oak-veneered internal doors.
The kitchens are supplied by Cawley’s Kitchens and the bedroom furniture is supplied by Cawley’s Furniture.
The showhouses were designed by interior designers and the palette throughout is neutral with pops of colour which can be seen variously in the furniture, in the blinds or in other window dressings.
Upstairs the bedrooms maintain a similar muted aesthetic with carpets throughout.
The bathrooms are fitted with sanitary ware, pumped showers and the walls and floors are all tiled.
The rear gardens are seeded and have concrete post and timber fencing.
