'You lunatics!': Oasis take to the stage in Croke Park for their first Irish concert in 16 years

The band is performing to a jam-packed crowd at the country’s largest venue.

LAST UPDATE | 16 Aug 2025

FOR THE FIRST time since June 2009, Oasis have returned, unified, to play in Ireland.

After widespread panic and subsequent condemnation over ticket sales and ticket prices (the latter of which led to questions over dynamic pricing, which, as yet, have not been answered), the day has finally arrived.

The band have taken to the stage, performing to a jam-packed crowd at the country’s largest venue. “You lunatics!” was shouted between songs by the band as the crowd roared.

Seven songs in, the stadium is still on its feet. Even those in the highest seats in Croke Park are yet to sit down – the most unusual feat.
