Vhi’s new 360 Health Centre provides an expanded range of services and personalised healthcare programmes.
Vhi 360 Health Centre Carrickmines has now officially opened its doors. The opening of the 5,000 square metre, five-storey multi-disciplinary Centre represents the introduction of a pioneering new model of healthcare in Ireland.
This model takes a holistic, 360 view of patient health including physical, mental and emotional wellbeing to ultimately improve outcomes.
The new centre offers a range of state-of-the-art diagnostic services alongside an Urgent Care Facility, and a suite of personalised healthcare programmes delivered by a multi-disciplinary team trained in integrative medicine. These include health coaches, physiotherapy, pilates, psychotherapy, and meditation.

Vhi Chief Clinical Officer Dr Nicholas Young said “Our ambition is centred on a new model of care – one that is built on the principles of integrative care and integrative medicine. Customers will have consultations that treat the whole person rather than the obvious ailment and link general health outcomes and lifestyle.
“So a care plan may include traditional medicine – as well as lifestyle medicine in areas of nutrition, resilience, environment, movement or complementary and alternative therapies such as pilates, yoga and meditation, which will be held in our dedicated studio.”

The opening of the Carrickmines centre is an exciting part of this new model, according to Dr Olivia Murphy, Senior Clinical Psychologist at Vhi. She said “This 360 model of care is not restricted by walls and windows. However the environment is fundamental to it and we have a very unique and exciting opportunity with Carrickmines to work in a building that actively contributes to the wellbeing of our customers by enabling the 360 model of care.”
Natural light is prioritised throughout the new building, and white noise has been reduced in order to create calm, bright and quiet spaces. Public areas are largely digital free with technology seamlessly embedded, including an MRI machine with added features to reduce anxiety.
