Chants of 'Olé Olé Olé' were almost as certain as bucket hats at Croke Park this weekend Sasko Lazarov/RollingNews.ie

Do you love or hate ‘Olé Olé Olé’ at gigs?

While the chant is a staple at Irish events, not everyone is a fan.

OASIS HAVE WRAPPED up two massive gigs at Croke Park, and all that’s left are videos and memories.

For many who couldn’t get their hands on a ticket, living vicariously through social media was the best next thing. One clip that’s been doing the rounds shows the 80,000-strong crowd chanting “Olé, Olé, Olé” in tribute to the Gallaghers.

The chant, which originated at Spanish bullfighting events, became a staple of Irish culture during Italia ’90. Since then, ‘Olé, Olé, Olé’ has become the chant of choice at football matches and concerts.

While the chant may be popular, it isn’t loved by all – with one X user calling it ‘the cringiest part of every concert in Ireland’.

So, tell us: Do you love or hate ‘Olé Olé Olé’ at gigs?
