DUBLIN MOTORISTS ARE being urged to avoid the M50 southbound altogether this morning.

An overturned truck is blocking the on-ramp from the N7/Naas Road.

Emergency services have also closed one lane of the M50 southbound at Junction 9 for the Red Cow.

Drivers are describing the city’s ring road as a ‘car park’.

The advice from AA Roadwatch this rush hour:

Motorists wishing to access the M50 southbound from the Naas Rd inbound are advised to divert at Newlands Cross onto to the Belgard Rd and Embankment Rd and rejoin the M50 at J10 Ballymount.
