14 St Patrick's Day parades that will make you proud to be Irish

All hail the Teresa Mannion float.

IT’S BEEN SOME day around the country.

And, as usual, the best craic to be had was with the parade floats. Like:

1. When this guy in Wexford had a political edge to his one man mission

2. When this village in Clare had this pair of entertainers as their FULL parade

Nothing but craic.

3. When the Limerick parade paid tribute to The Rubberbandits in the best way possible

4. When there was a minion singing olé olé olé in Blanchardstown

5. When Mayo had a very special guest visiting today

6. This mini tractor spotted in North County Dublin sums up every parade around the country

7. The “move the Red Cow to Skellig Healy Rae” float went down well in Castleisland, Kerry

8. This homage to Bridget and Eamon was spot on

9. When the whole Sligo parade came to a standstill because this float broke down

10. When Jedward showed up with a fake Bishop in Limerick

11. When this hotel group went for a Star Wars theme

12. And this giant pup ruled over Cork
