A MALE PEDESTRIAN in his 30s has been killed in a collision involving a bus and a car.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred on the R402 at Kishawanny, Carbury, Co Kildare this morning at around 6.30am.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased. His body remains at the scene.
The coroner has been notified. No other injuries were reported at the time.
Garda Forensic Investigators will carry out a technical exam of the scene.
The R402 at Kishawanny Road junction is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 5.45am and 6.45am this morning, Friday 12th December 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
