Top dogs at the Allianz Pet Event

Allianz Rewards customers enjoyed exclusive access to the pawsome event!

ALLIANZ IRELAND, IN partnership with the Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), set tails wagging with a pet-themed event last weekend for Allianz Pet Insurance customers as part of its Allianz Rewards loyalty programme.

More than 400 people came through the DSPCA doors, where both pets and owners enjoyed a packed day of activities. From lively dog shows and an agility course to gourmet food trucks, trainer sessions, and expert nutrition advice, plus for the kids; colourful face painting and balloon animal making – there was something to keep the whole family happy.

The dog-friendly photo booths were a particular hit, with the “pawparazzi” on hand to capture plenty of picture-perfect moments. Many of the four-legged guests also made the most of the agility course, bounding through it with obvious excitement.

The event, offered free to Allianz customers who entered a competition to win a family pass, gave dog owners a chance to celebrate their pets together in a fun setting (with free ice-cream and pizza), while highlighting the importance of care, companionship and giving animals a good home.
