IT HAPPENS EVERY January – you wish your close friends and family a Happy New Year sometime in the dying hours of December, or at some stage on 1 January.
But as you get back into your usual, non-festive routine, you face into encounters with other friends and acquaintances – never quite sure whether to say anything about the new year, or how enthusiastic a greeting to give.
This morning we’re asking: When should we stop wishing each other Happy New Year?
