Power outages in Dublin and Cork

In Glassmore, Swords a fault has caused a power outage for around 21 houses and a fault in Cloyne, Co Cork means around 42 houses are without electricity.

THE ESB ARE reporting two minor power cuts this morning in Dublin and Cork.

In Glassmore, Swords, Co Dublin a fault has caused a power outage for around 21 houses and a fault in Cloyne, Co Cork means around 42 houses are without electricity. Both areas should have power restored at around 11.15am.

A spokesperson for the ESB has told TheJournal.ie that their new app and website will give real time information to customers about power outages, including restoration times.

PowerCheck is an app launched by the ESB that the general public can download and use if they are looking for information about power cuts around the country. It is accessible through smartphones and online at the ESB website.
