THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION is coming to an end, and this Friday, voters around the country will decide between the two candidates – Catherine Connolly and Heather Humphreys – that are in the running for the Áras.

There has been a lot of discussion over the past month about the traits and the personality that is needed to become President of Ireland.

The Journal visited University College Cork to speak to students about what they think is important for someone hoping to be President.
