Local authority house builds hit a new low
The Department of the Environment has released figures that show just 75 social housing units were built in the whole of 2015, – the lowest since official records began in 1970.
Average rents have surpassed €1,000 per month
Rents across Ireland have risen as available rental properties have reached an all-time low, according to the latest Daft report released this week. This is the first time since 2008 that rents have surpassed an average of €1,000 per month.
Fancy a look inside London’s most exclusive rental property? You’re in luck. One Hyde Park is available for short-term rentals at £22,500 per week (approximately €28,500) or £90,000 per month (approximately €114,000). It has a private cinema, pool, a spa and a golfing area.
