The draft working report which looks to address Ireland’s obligations under the Water Framework Directive (WFD) has proposed that “those who wilfully abuse water or permit wastage can be prosecuted”.
A major vacant-site development has stalled as it may spoil views from Dublin Castle
Environmental charity An Taisce has delayed the construction of a mixed-use development on a vacant lot in Dublin’s city centre over concerns that it will spoil the view from Dublin Castle. Galway-headquartered Luxor Investments received planning permission in December last year to build a six-storey development on Ship Street Great and Chancery Lane in inner-city Dublin.
