HIT TV SHOW Heated Rivalry hit Irish screens last weekend, having taken the US and Canada by storm when it was released at the end of last year.

Heated Rivalry is a six-episode TV adaptation of a 2019 novel of the same name by author Rachel Reid. The show follows two rival hockey captains as they embark on a secret, years-long relationship off the ice.

But before there were Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, there were other high-profile rivalries – see how well you know them.
