Garda appeal after three masked men raid Clonsilla bookies

The raid happened as a worker at the Boylesports in Clonsilla was opening up this morning.

GARDAÍ IN BLANCHARDSTOWN are investigating after a group of masked raiders stole cash from the Boylesports betting shop in Clonsilla, Dublin 15, this morning.

The men – wearing balaclavas and armed with a suspected handgun – forced their way into the premises on Weavers Row, on the Clonsilla Road, at around 9.30am. A staff member was opening the premises at the time.

The three escaped with an undisclosed sum of money in what gardaí say was a silver or gold Renault Laguna. No-one was injured in the course of the incident.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
