Celbrations after Troy Parrott's winner in Budapest.

The Nation Holds Its Breath: Rate how you're feeling ahead of the Big Match

From 1-10, how nervous are you?

IT’S APPROACHING GAME time for the biggest night in Irish football for a long time.

Ireland’s women made it to the last World Cup in Australia in 2023 but it’s been 24 years for since the Boys in Green made it to the biggest stage in the sport.

To get there, Ireland must win tonight’s play-off semi-final against Czechia in Prague and then another game next Tuesday in Dublin against either Denmark or North Macedonia.

The hype for tonight’s match is akin to when the team was last in the tournament, supercharged by three wins on the trot late last year and Troy Parrott’s winning hat-trick that gave Irish football a viral moment.

Thousands of Irish fans have travelled to Prague for tonight’s game and the media interest has hit new levels too.

So ahead of kick-off, we want to gauge the mood of the nation. To do this, please rate your feels from 1-10 based on how strong you’re feeling each emotion.
