Poll: Renua or the Social Democrats?

Is this town big enough for both of them?

THE IRISH POLITICAL landscape has got quite the revamp in recent months with two new, fully-fledged parties now in town.

This week, we noted some interesting reader polls (which are totally unscientific, but as we said, still interesting).

In March, we asked you if you would vote for Renua in the next election. You said no, resoundingly. Only 12% of those taking said they would vote for Renua.

This week, you were more positive about Roisin Shortall, Catherine Murphy and Stephen Donnelly - with 55% saying that they would vote for them.

Today, we’re putting them head-to-head. Who are you more likely to vote for come general election, Renua or the SocDems?

Poll Results:

Social Democrats (7585)
Neither (3498)
Renua (1110)
I won't vote (179)
