A PEDESTRIAN WAS knocked down in Dublin early this morning.
The 25-year-old man has been taken to St James’s Hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.
He was walking at the junction of the Crumlin Road and Bangor Road at about 6am when he was hit by a car.
Gardaí are investigating and the road is closed for examinations. Diversions are in place and an appeal for witnesses has been issued.
Met Éireann has issued a fog warning today and has asked motorists and other road users to take extra care because of the adverse conditions.
