Poll: Are RTÉ's Prime Time debates fair to the candidates?

One independent called the decision to have two panels for each constituency “the lowest trick yet”. What do you think of the Euro debate format?

RTÉ AIRED THE first of its three Euro elections debates last night — but not everyone’s happy about the format of the programmes (to say the least).

With such a large number of hopefuls in each constituency, the national broadcaster’s decided that voters will be best served by having two separate panels.

However, several independents have criticised the move — saying established candidates are being given an unfair advantage by being included in the first panel.

What do you think?
