"Military intervention is never the answer": Russia Today presenter goes rogue live on air

The Moscow-funded broadcaster, which goes out in over 100 countries, has been criticised for its one-sided coverage of the Ukraine crisis.

A JOURNALIST FOR Russian TV network RT has delivered a blistering attack on Moscow’s policies, describing Vladimir Putin’s military action in Ukraine as “wrong” and telling viewers that “military intervention is never the answer”.

The Kremlin-funded news network, which is broadcast in over 100 countries, has come in for criticism recently over its partisan coverage of the developing crisis.

RT’s website describes ‘Breaking the Set’ as a show that “cuts through the pre-written narrative that tries to tell you what to think, and what to care about”.

Martin is due back on air tonight. The journalist hasn’t made any additional comment since last night’s show, but recently retweeted this Vincent Van Gogh quote…
