Six men due in court charged in connection with organised crime

The men, who are in their late 20s to early 40s, were arrested on Monday.

SIX MEN ARE due to appear before a sitting of Waterford District Court this morning charged in connection with organised crime.

The men, who are in their late 20s to early 40s, were arrested on Monday morning after a number of searches were carried out in the South Kilkenny and Waterford area.

A number of items were seized during the searches.

The men were being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
