SPACEX HAS UNVEILED a sleek white spacesuit that founder Elon Musk hopes will be used to protect astronauts from the vacuum of space.
The company has been launching satellites and ferrying supplies to the International Space Station but next year hopes to start carrying people.
In an Instagram post last night, Musk revealed the spacesuit these astronauts may be wearing and said that it has been tested on earth.

“First picture of SpaceX spacesuit. More in days to follow,” Musk said in the post.
Worth noting that this actually works (not a mockup). Already tested to double vacuum pressure. Was incredibly hard to balance esthetics and function. Easy to do either separately.
SpaceX is developing a crewed version of its Dragon cargo capsule for NASA astronauts.
Aviation company Boeing is also developing spacesuits for its Starliner capsules and the company has gone for a blue design.
US astronauts last rocketed away from Cape Canaveral, Florida in 2011. They’ve since been riding Russian rockets to get to the International Space Station.
