Man arrested after woman receives multiple stab wounds in home attack

The victim is said to be in a stable condition in hospital in the wake of the ordeal.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with a stab attack in north Belfast this morning.

At around 7am, police received a report that a 26-year-old woman had received multiple stab wounds after a male entered a house in Glenrosa Link.

Emergency services arrived, and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment, where she is said to be in a stable condition this afternoon.

According to the PSNI, a 20 year old man was later arrested and has been detained for questioning.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Antrim Road Police Station.
