A stress-free Christmas morning awaits with this one simple task
Santa’s helpers have nothing on you with this Christmas box of essentials.
IF YOU’VE GOT little ones in your home, Christmas morning is a thing of wonder. Wrapping paper is flying, squeals of joy are filling the home, and the inevitable requests for batteries are plentiful.
There are a few essential tools that are required every Christmas morning and yes, we know Santa and his helpers do the heavy lifting with the gift getting, but it’s usually the parents and relatives having to scramble to find the nearest scissors before the sun comes up on December 25.
To save you from rummaging through your toolkit to find the perfect sized screwdriver and allow you to sit back and enjoy the fun of Christmas morning, a Christmas box has been doing the round on social for the last couple of years and we have to admit, it’s one of those tasks that we can get onboard with.
So, what does a Christmas box consist of? Think of it as your personal cheat-sheet to avoid any additional stress on Christmas morning, emotions are high, there’s usually a lack of sleep involved and who has the time to be searching for tools in the midst of all the excitement?
A Christmas box usually contains the below items:
- Some bin liners to collect the used wrapping paper
- Batteries of all sizes to suit a variety of toys
- Scissors (always needed)
- A variety of screwdrivers to cover your bases with any tricky assemblies
- An allen key which can also aid in quick and efficient assembly of toys
Another good shout is to include some small sandwich bags for any small parts that could get lost in the ruckus and a pen and paper to note down any gifts from relatives that you want to keep track of.
