SURE, THE SUN may not have been splitting the stones today — but there was at least the promise of summer in the air.
This was the scene earlier from inside O’Carrolls Beach Bar on the Ring of Kerry Cycle route — near Catherdaniel on the Iveragh Penninsula.
It was pretty nice start to the day in the county too — this was taken at dawn at the Ameen Riverm near the Beara Way…
But this being Ireland, the sunshine couldn’t last forever. This is from Upper Cloonee Lough, also on the Beara Way…
The weather for the rest of the week?
It’s not looking too bad for tomorrow — a mix of cloud and sunny spells tomorrow, with temperatures of up to 13 degrees.
There’ll be a fair bit of rain on Saturday, but then a bit on an improvement again on Sunday: dry and bright, then some showers later.
