GARDAÍ IN LIMERICK are investigating an alleged suspicious approach that was reported on 10 October.
The garda press office said that the matter is under investigation after a person made a complaint to Henry St gardaí about the incident.
The approach allegedly occurred in the Limerick city centre. The Irish Examiner reports that it was a young girl who said she was approached by a male on Cathedral St, and that this was the fourth such incident in the past month.
An investigation is ongoing into the allegations.
Gardaí have confirmed that if anyone has information on the incident, they can contact Henry St gardaí on 061 212 400 or their local garda station.
