This boy used his Communion money to buy ice cream for children in Temple Street

Liam O’Flynn’s mum said the family is “beyond proud”.

LIAM O’FLYNN MADE lots of people very happy after donating his Communion money to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

The eight-year-old’s donation was spent on toys and ice cream for children getting treatment.

Liam’s younger sister Gracie had spent some time in Temple Street and he wanted to give something back.

The hospital’s staff took to their Facebook page to thank Liam for his generosity:

We are so grateful to Liam for being so kind and thinking of us and giving all of our little patients a treat yesterday.

Liam’s mum Susan said the family is “beyond proud of Liam”.

“He is a wonderful child, wild as anything with a tremendously big heart. He is so happy with all the lovely comments and great pictures.”
