THE THATCHED ROOF of a pub in Dublin has gone on fire.
Dublin Fire Brigade said it is attempting to extinguish the blaze at the Man O’War gatsro pub in Balbriggan, in the north of the county.
Five fire engines were sent to the scene of the historic building, which dates back to the 16th century.
“A turntable ladder is currently acting as a water tower above the fire,” Dublin Fire Brigade said in a post on social media.
